June 6 @ 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm
Free
Join us on Saturday, June 6th at 12:30 PM at the Downtown Performance Area in Public Square for a FREE performance by Wolfpack Jazz, the Wilkes-Barre Area CAPAA student ensemble directed by Michael Pryor!
Wilkes-Barre Area’s Creative and Performing Arts Academy (CAPAA) is an audition-based program featuring talented students from neighboring school districts in theater, visual arts, and music. Now in its eighth year within the Wilkes-Barre Area School District, CAPAA gives students the opportunity to pursue their artistic passions while continuing their core curriculum studies.
Come out and support these outstanding young musicians as they bring live jazz to downtown Wilkes-Barre during this year’s Cavalcade of Jazz!
